About the house / origin

A short history / 001
Friend St. Design House grows from two physical experiments in what creative space can make possible.
A place for photography, portraits, set building and small productions—where ideas could be tested by making them real.
An artist-built, multi-room warehouse that became a home for shoots, performances, workshops and more than 50 events.
What the spaces made possible / 002
The physical spaces brought people into proximity. They generated events, connected artists with collaborators and audiences, and gave new projects—and careers—room to begin.
Friend St. Design House carries those effects into a virtual environment. Instead of being limited by one address, the house assembles people, tools and project structure around each idea—expanding both creative capacity and vision.
